No he’s not sitting in a hot tub or floating in Lake Michigan but [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bucky Covington[/lastfm] is in some hot water!
That’s at least what TMZ has been reporting but what has the star of American Idol done to get himself in some trouble? Did he do it?
Well right now no evidence has been released but a concert promoter for the Iron Horse Saloon in Ormond Beach, Florida has claimed that Bucky and his ‘entourage’ stole $1,500 out of a cash box at a show in July. The show being held as part of a NASCAR celebration went on as planned after the promoter had to leave due to chest pains before the show even started. When asked about the claims, Bucky denied em and said:
“I’m just glad I’m big enough to be on TMZ! Thanks!”
I gotta say that is pretty funny! Now Bucky isn’t the only one involved. The ‘entourage’ the promoter was talking about included his brother and sister-in-law. Now no one has shown any proof that Bucky, or anyone with him took the money. But lets think about this. You have a cash box in a night club with hundreds of people around, and your gonna just let it sit there with no one watching it. Now if the promoter was watching it and had to leave, did he not have anyone else working that could take over?

After the story broke, Bucky shared his side of the story on his Facebook page:
Well it looks like either way he sure has his fans supporting him! I don’t know Bucky very well but he’s always been very respectful when I’ve worked with him and talked to him so I think he’s innocent. Hopefully it will all blow over and everything will be forgotten!
